Social media has become slop.
What's more depressing is that it is not even a human slop. It's an AI slop. Every single platform had its share of this meaningless, lazy, inconsistent content creation. Business writing had the worst of them all. LinkedIn and X have become the sloppiest of slops.
99% of the business writing is just trend chasing. Predictable. Shallow. Ignores the meaning and what drives the markets. If you spend some time reading online, you will be able to spot the AI slop. And the more you realize how much of them is written by a LLM, the more depressed you will be.
Here’s the thing. We can't let the clankers do our deep thinking. I'm guilty of this, too. I relied too much on the LLMs when I first started this newsletter. When I was trying to spit out an article every week. Reading what I wrote after some time, I hated most of it.
I'm writing to learn. To express myself better. To think deeper - and clearer. This is why my publishing schedule turned into whenever I want. I wrote the last couple of editions by hand, including this one. My perspective is changing. And I want to help you change yours.
This is why the structure and flow of my writing became something different. The old frame was useful. It got me started, but I was looking at the world through execution and leverage only.
Founder Marketer is now much more long-term focused. We are exploring why certain things deserve to last and scale. I'm trying to see what's behind the curtain. This is not about spiritualism or growth maximalism. It's about seeking coherence and meaning.
We'll focus more on:
- Founder & consumer psychology
- Marketing & brand history
- Market dynamics & incentives
- Brand, taste, power
and more...
So if you care about how markets work, and how to live inside them, follow along.
Let's explore why and how people think, buy, and sell.
